It is with very heavy hearts that we share the news that New Leaf Center founder Dan Crockett, M.S., LMHC, CSAT-S, CAP, passed away peacefully in his sleep on Saturday, September 28. He was a beloved colleague, brilliant mentor, and dear friend whom we will miss immensely.
Dan created an amazing community of therapists, clients and business associates working together to heal the wounds of trauma and addiction. His visionary leadership, clinical expertise, and uncanny intuitive abilities touched everyone he knew and made New Leaf Center what it is today.
We shall honor Dan’s indelible legacy by continuing to provide the type of therapy for which he was known. And we will always deliver the same quality of care he instilled in the culture of New Leaf Center.
A public visitation will be held on Sunday, October 6 from 2 to 5 p.m. at Highland Funeral Home. His funeral service will take place on Monday, October 7 at 11 a.m. at Highland Funeral Home, followed immediately by interment at Highland Memory Gardens. Both are located at 3329 E. Semoran Blvd., Apopka FL 32703.
In lieu of flowers, Dan’s family asks that donations be made to The Wounded Warrior Project at https://www.woundedwarriorproject.org/donate.
