Q: What forms of payment do you accept?
A: We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, personal checks and cash. Payment is due at the time of service.

Q: Do you accept insurance?
A: New Leaf Center does not accept insurance assignments and does not file insurance claims. We can furnish a receipt for you to submit to your insurance carrier. Fees are due to New Leaf Center at the time services are rendered.

Q: What if I am sick, and I can’t make my appointment?
A: Sickness, accidents, family crises are all part of life; and we understand that. We appreciate as much notice as you can give so we can offer appointments to other clients, however, 48 hours cancellation notice is required to avoid a fee. Clients will be charged the full fee for missed appointments and for appointments for which changes or cancellations are not made 48 hours in advance. Please contact our office for more details.

Q: What if I call to cancel my appointment over the weekend or outside of normal business hours?
A: If you have to call outside of our normal business hours to cancel an appointment, please leave a voicemail message, and we will honor that notice. A 48-hour cancellation notice is required to avoid a fee.

Q: Do you have other locations?
A: No, our only office is located in Winter Park, Florida.

Q: Do you allow walk-ins?
A: New Leaf Center offers services by appointment only. Please call our office to schedule an appointment. We do not schedule appointments through email contact.

Q: Do you have a psychiatrist on staff?
A: We do not have a psychiatrist on staff. New Leaf Center clinicians do not prescribe nor manage medication. Your primary therapist will provide referrals to psychiatrists if needed.

Q: How can I contact New Leaf Center outside of business hours?
A: New Leaf Center has a confidential voicemail where you can leave messages outside of business hours. Calls will be returned during normal business hours – Monday through Thursday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Q: I am in crisis. What should I do?
A: New Leaf Center is not a crisis center. If you are experiencing an emergency, please call 9-1-1 or the Central Florida Community Crisis Line at (407) 425-2624.

Q: How do you keep my information private?
A: Client confidentiality is first and foremost at New Leaf Center, and we follow all applicable federal and state confidentiality guidelines, as well as ethical standards. The only way we can release client information is with the client’s written consent, or a court order signed by a judge.
