Office InformationEverything you may want to know
Business hours at The New Leaf Center are Monday through Thursday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. The office can be contacted during those hours to schedule appointments, obtain information about counseling services and fees, inquire about business office needs, and leave messages for any of the New Leaf Center staff.
Group counseling sessions are generally held Monday through Thursday evenings. Before starting group counseling, clients must be seen for at least one individual counseling session with the therapist facilitating the group. The facilitator will determine if the group is appropriate for the client’s needs and will make arrangements for them to begin attending group sessions. If it is determined that a group setting is not appropriate, the therapist will make alternate recommendations.
During non-business hours, messages can be left on the office answering machine. Messages will be responded to as soon as possible during regular business hours. In emergency situations, call 911.
Email contact with the therapists at The New Leaf Center is to be used for information and communication purposes only. Email is not intended to be used for therapy or for an emergency contact.
Skype appointments can be available to clients of the New Leaf Center as a convenience, if the therapist determines they are appropriate. Video conferencing is not a substitute for in-person therapy and can be used if circumstances indicate it could be helpful to maintain continuity of contact between client and therapist. Skype appointments are scheduled during the same hours as office appointments and at the same fee as individual sessions – $140. Clients must agree to Skype guidelines and payment methods before scheduling a Skype appointment.
